The service I offer is counselling support to adults affected by adoption, who seek help and support in processing their thoughts and feelings around their adoption experience.

This includes:

• Adopted adults
• Birth parents and Birth relatives where children have been placed for adoption, in both recent or historic adoptions.
• Adoptive parents
• Prospective adoptive parents/ Foster to adopt

I work with both individuals and couples, this can be in a private capacity or on behalf of local authorities and other organisations.

I recognise the life long impact of adoption, and all involved in the adoption triangle which includes birth parents, adopted adults who were adopted as children and adoptive parents.

The counselling offered can focus on adoptive issues along with other issues as they emerge or specifically on adoption.

The facilities I offer are:

• Face to face counselling
• Telephone counselling
• Video counselling via zoom
• Wheelchair access accommodation available (through arrangement)

I am a registered, accredited member of the BACP and commit to working within their ethical guidelines.

I am also registered with Ofsted to provide an adoption support agency.
